There's not a huge amount left to say about the life and music of David Bowie. A pop chameleon oft imitated but never really matched. Much of his life has been documented and examined to forensic levels but his enigmatic approach to life, artistic fervour and amiable oddness meant he remained a beautifully aloof cultural icon for decades until his untimely death in 2016. I've been meaning to illustrate a homage to Bowie ever since his death but hadn't got around to it until last November when I came up with the idea of experimenting with newspaper and magazine headline cuttings and some hologramatic card that shimmered at me in a shop one day. This is the result.
